Drones for research, with geometry you can document.
For an early lab experiment, a configurable airframe helps record dimensions and module placement consistently. Start here for a frame concept; custom sensors, onboard computers and experiment-specific mounts need a scoped research project.

Record the experimental configuration
Width, length, sweep, arm thickness, body width and selected modules are recorded with the build request. Keep hardware revisions, firmware, battery and environmental conditions alongside these values in your lab notes.
- 02
Separate a visual module from a sensor specification
The fixed camera, GPS and microphone shapes describe placement, not calibrated research instruments. Specify your actual sensor dimensions, mass, power, data connection and any vibration or interference limits.
- 03
Keep comparisons controlled
Changing a mount can change balance and vibration. For repeatability, document the complete assembly and print settings; identical preview geometry alone does not guarantee identical measured behaviour.
- 04
Choose the right research route
Use the preset for an initial layout and submit your requirements. For custom mounting rails, companion computing or multiple prototype revisions, choose the research project in Custom projects and request a call. File access and deliverables are agreed in scope.
Are these validated research aircraft?
No. These are airframe concepts for engineering review. Flight testing, experimental validation and operational permissions are separate.
Can you integrate our own sensor?
Share its specification, mass, dimensions, power and data requirements through the research project form. Feasibility and scope are confirmed before work.
